After defeating the last of the challenges GameAchiever.com finally went live, we are available as Open Beta version for general public. Please note that this is still the testing phase and you might find some features still causing errors or lead to dead parts of the website. However, we are very excited to show the website to everyone that wanted to see what we were working on. We invite all interested players to register and add their accounts from World of Warcraft and StarCraft 2. In the near future when Diablo 3 comes out we will add this game to our system and you will be able to add the game and characters as well.
We look forward to hear your opinions and comments that particularly in this phase of project development are important to us. We will consider every remark and suggestion. We also remind you that we are looking for talented people to join us at GameAchiever.com and help us out to push everything to the next level. Month February is going by while we are constantly working to improve profile functionality on GameAchiever.com. Profile will have aggregating data and content from all accounts that you added. In addition you will be able to view individual accounts or characters from various games such as Diablo 3, StarCraft 2 and World of Warcraft. In the top of the profile you will see an avatar and a brief description of the user. You will be able to edit that description in your account. A bit lower you will seen all accounts and characters of the games that you have added.
The most interesting functionality it will be located on the right hand side. Player’s signature card which will generate automatically based on data from your profile page. Besides that you will be able to see what was the last achievement was unlocked by the player and you will be able leave some comments right there! As you can see we are preparing bunch of interesting features for a lot of Blizzard fans!
We would like you to write a quick note about work progress on GameAchiever.com. We are working as hard as we can to deliver something outstanding. We have added few things since the last time. Home page for logged in users was customized and developed to meet all necessary requirements. Player’s profile page and sub-profile pages for characters from StarCraft 2, Diablo 3 and World of Warcraft were implemented under individual accounts. In addition to that like always we are working on a variety of small custom features that will make your life easier when you are using the website. Just in case if we have missed something we added “Report a bug”, easy and nice way to let us know if something is not working.
Main focus as of right now is on testing and developing some certain futures on the home page and profile page. At the same time usability is being tested on each page that we have developed so far. Our goal is to deliver easy to use interface were any average internet user can navigate through the site with not being confused. We hope that GameAchiever.com will become well known icon/brand in the world of achievements of Blizzard games.

Many of you are wondering why we have not announced launch date for GameAchiever.com. Website is still closed for general public and is going through the beta-testing phase. We do not want to release a site with bunch of bugs and errors. We promise you will be happy when we launch, final result will be worth waiting. We are almost there, please give us a bit more of patience and we will not disappoint.
Portal has been moved to our new and fast dedicated server in order to serve you better. We constantly develop new game guides and started adding industry related news. Developers, testers all of us are running and making sure site is free of issues and ready for you guys.

For quite some time we did not post anything here about the progress of development on our portal. Believe or not we were extremely busy on working on variety of things associated with the GA. Work is moving ahead with full force. We add new features on daily basis. We would like to let you know that we have added latest news section related to the world of Blizzard Entertainment games. That way if you visit us on daily basis you would be able to get more updated news about Diablo 3, StarCraft 2 and World of Warcraft. I am sure it will a ton of information we can write about. We have ahead of us Diablo 3 release, Heart of the Swarm and the Mists of Pandaria. This blog therefore from now on will be devoted to portal development.
In the last days we have updated among other things such as adding videos to the news and tutorials. We have added author credit and show the difficulty level under each guide. We also updated the achievement database, administration panel and much more. We are still working on functionality of a gamer profile. More information about the profile will be posted soon. Most crucial for everybody is the launch date and as this being said we hope to surprise you with beginning of 2012.
At the dawn of 18 November 2011, Diablo III got updated with patch 6, which changed the game’s version to 0.4.0.7841. This time, a limited selection of achievements was added and they were tailored for the beta alone. The achievement screen was divided into specific tabs for convenience.
